Global Telesat, is the first Spanish company establishing a Teleport in Alicante allowing the distribution of reliable Internet, TV and another Internet services from Spain to Africa.

On 7th February 2012, Global Telesat and RascomStar-QAF have entered into a strong joint venture for the provision of teleport connectivity services and high-speed IP products to the Internet backbone.

The new teleport installed in Alicante, Spain, and it will exclusively use the RASCOM-QAF1R satellite.

The joint venture will create a new force and will provide growth for the African telecommunications offering an enhanced range of fast, responsive and flexible satellite solutions and the most competitive prices.

Thanks to this collaboration, Global Telesat and RascomStar-QAF will deliver more optimized services to all types of customers across the African continent including underserved communities.

We have an exclusively use the RASCOM-QAF1R satellite in Insat C and Ku band frequencies with the RQ1R pan-African coverage, at the most competitive prices.

Our teleport, a communications complex, consists of multiple earth stations pointed to a variety of different satellites and providing interconnection to terrestrial fiber optic transmission systems in order to re-broadcast data and videos.

From the control room of our teleport, we are able to control and monitor the satellite, IP and data traffic, in order to provide to our customers stable, efficient, reliable and consistent satellite telecommunications to areas across different continents with main focus to Africa.

Global Telesat providing everywhere in Africa affordable priced bandwidth with great flexibility as the result of the capacity to change bandwidth or priority through network management, as we are permitted to fully manage our part of the network and define customized Quality of Service.
